Dark Hearts and Dark Thoughts

When the Predator Becomes The Prey

When The Predators Become The Prey

Originally shot by Kevin Carter, a vivid image of when the predators become the prey. The suffering in Africa is often overlooked, a fate that the Western civilisation have accepted but unaware of how severe the pain and suffering have surmounted. Unknown of the actual fate of the girl, she at least had the strength to bare another day away and walk away from this vulture.

Criticisms arose of how Carter acted, indeed, like another vulture…encapturing her suffering and passing by. Is this true of the human race? Of course, there are a countless amount of barbaric acts seen from the beginning of time.

Three months later after recieving the Pulitzer Prize for this photo, Kevin Carter committed suicide.
